our organization's mission, projects, staff, publications, and events with
the goal of sharing our work with the general public and promoting
interest in our mission. We've created this privacy policy to inform you
about the types of information gathered on this website and how it is

The Institute for Culture and Ecology is committed to
honoring the privacy of visitors to our website. Information collected on
www.ifcae.org is kept private and never shared with other
organizations. In general, when you visit our website and access
information you remain anonymous. We do not require you to register or
provide personal information to us to view our site.
Submitting Personal

Within our website, we offer various
opportunities to become involved in IFCAE. In all cases, you choose
whether or not you wish to participate and whether or not you wish to

The online donation form requests personal information, including your
name, Email and mailing addresses. This information will be kept
confidential and will not be shared with other organizations. We will
use your information to send you a receipt if requested.

upcoming IFCAE events. IFCAE will maintain your information
confidentially and allow you to unsubscribe from such services (see

respond to the comment or question. We will not use this information for
any purpose other than to resolve the matter identified in the
correspondence.
In all
cases, the information you provide will be kept confidential and will not
be shared with other organizations.
We do not utilize direct mail services or
telemarketing so your information will never be used for solicitation.
Measuring Website Activity
IFCAE logs Internet
Protocol addresses and
browser types for systems administration purposes. This information
allows us to track how much traffic our website is receiving and guides us
on how to improve our website. Your IP address also helps us diagnose
problems with our server. IP addresses do not provide us with any
identifiable personal information. This means your session will be
tracked, but you will remain anonymous. This information is never given
to third parties but if we were siphoned by a U.S. court of law we may be
obliged to provide IP logs.
IFCAE does not currently use any
type of cookies but may do so in the future for measuring website
activity. "Cookies" are small files sent from a Web server to your
computer through your browser program. There are two types of cookies:
non-persistent and persistent cookies.

The IFCAE website contains links to third-party websites. Since we do not
control these Websites, IFCAE cannot be

E-Mail Lists - Subscribing and Unsubscribing
Visitors to our website may choose to subscribe to our email list which
provides information regarding upcoming events, projects, publications,
internship opportunities, and other information on our organization. We
do not share email addresses with other organizations. If at any time you
wish to be removed from our email list, you can unsubscribe from that list
as explained in each message.
