TRAINING RESOURCES
SHARE YOUR MATERIALS.
Please help us build a page of quality training resources
specific to commercial NTFP development. If you have a video
we can host it directly through this site, just let us know through
the Discussion Forum
or by contacting us
via email or phone at 503-331-6681. We can host any quality
video. Our preferred length is 10 minutes or less but longer
is possible. We cannot guerentee the accuracy of the video
content.
Examples of the types of training resources we could use:
Needed: Harvest, processing or marketing videos.
Needed: Land management guides for NTFPs such as how to inventory
and monitor specific commercial species, soil preparation, wild and
semi-wild approaches, etc.
SEARCHING INTERNET VIDEO SITES
You might also try one of the many Internet video hosting sites
like YouTube and Vimeo. The quality and accuracy can vary
greatly and may not be a good fit with your needs but searches and
viewing are easy if you have a good Internet connection. If
you find a good video please let others know in the
Discussion Forum.
When doing a YouTube or Vimeo search we recommend starting broadly
such "ginseng" and see if they have anything at all. You can
then research and narrow the results by being more specific, such
as "ginseng harvesting."
